THE CUISINE:
With 3 locations around town, Sunrise might just be Savannah’s most popular greasy spoon breakfast spot. Sandwiches for lunch as well. All of the usual suspects on the menu here.
THE MOOD:
Locals, locals, locals. All day. Cafeteria style restaurant. Business meetings and regulars sipping coffee while reading the actual made out of paper newspaper.
BEST FOR:
No frills bacon, eggs, pancakes, etc. A local version of ‘Waffle House.’ Biscuits are made from scratch though. Grits and Cheese Grits.
WHAT YOU WON’T:
Not a lot of creativity if you are looking for that. Straight forward breakfast and sandwiches.
