THE CUISINE:
Narobia’s is Savannah’s Soul Food breakfast go-to. Fish and Grits, Salmon Cakes, grits, gravy, omelettes and more. Very different from your average breakfast/brunch spot. If you need to see farms they use listed on the menu, you’ve got the wrong place.
THE MOOD:
Located away from the heart of the Historic District you will find if full of locals. Very popular on weekends and early mornings. Not uncommon to see City Councilmen and women grabbing theirs to-go. There’s no website thus no menu to scout. So no-pre planning your visit.
BEST FOR:
Something different for breakfast. Gravy is outstanding. Simple, flavorful food. Fish and Grits are very popular.
WHAT YOU’LL LOVE:
Breakfast off of the beaten path in Savannah tucked away along the city’s on-the-rise Habersham Corridor. Try the fried fish and grits.
WHAT YOU WON’T:
If you’ve got a vegan in the group, this is a no-go. You aren’t going here with dietary restrictions. You are going here to blow up your diet with fat and sodium.
