THE CUISINE:
Southern, creative, modern and fun. Husk has ingrained itself as a Southern culinary brand. With locations in Charleston, Greenville and Nashville, most people who come to the South know all about Husk and their ‘farm to table’ concept.
THE MOOD:
HUSK Savannah is their biggest of the 4 Husk properties. 10,000 square feet of renovated old Savannah home, it is a beautiful space. I have said more than once the bar (which is HUGE) is the prettiest bar space between Jacksonville and South Florida. If there is a prettier one, I want to see it.
BEST FOR:
Husk can be many things. Nibbles at the bar or a full blown dinner. Brunch wise, we enjoy the bar. There used to be TVs but they got taken away. Bar area still remains most popular. Menu is small, but very fresh and changes regularly except for the burger, which is ridiculously good.
WHAT YOU’LL LOVE:
Bloody Mary and pretty much anything they do for brunch. Especially that burger.
WHAT YOU WON’T:
If you are looking to eat enough for two meals and wash it down with bottomless anything, Husk is not for you. We think portions are great, a lot of people think they are small. Call me crazy, but I usually eat for one.
