THE CUISINE:
Hitch is a sister restaurant to the very popular Treylor Park on Bay Street in Savannah. It was created to give locals an option to enjoy some of the same food and drink without having to go ‘all the way downtown.’ We make this point because while the menus have differences, they are largely the same. Lots of heavy fried comfort foods. Great for a hangover.
THE MOOD:
One Saturday per month, Hitch hosts a Disco Brunch. Complete with DJ. That tell you what you need to know?
BEST FOR:
Good music, good food, great cocktails. A party.
WHAT YOU’LL LOVE:
The location is outstanding. In the heart of Savannah. 1 block from famed Pinkie Masters (look it up if you don’t know about it) and a block from Peregrin, Savannah’s most beautiful rooftop bar. Hard to ask for more.
WHAT YOU WON’T:
Just like Treylor Park, leave the diet and the vegetarians at home. Neither will get any traction here.
