Most would agree that authentic Philadelphia Style Cheesesteaks are a little hard to come by in and around Savannah. Now Chaz Ortiz, owner of Chazito’s Latin Cuisine in Pooler-and a Philly area native, is planning to do something about that.

Chaz has announced the opening of “Philly Boyz,” an homage to all of the flavors of his hometown including cheesesteaks, loaded fries, pretzels and a range of hoagies.

The new restaurant is located at 2 Quacco Road in Savannah at the intersection of Quacco and Highway 17.

Originally from Lancaster, PA, Ortiz grew up with a love for Philadelphia’s rich food culture, a passion he brings to life with Philly Boyz. Known for his culinary expertise on the Food Network, Ortiz was featured on Guy’s Grocery Games, as well as Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives with Guy Fieri.

Philly Boyz reflects his deep appreciation for Philly’s food, embodying the brand’s motto, “Taste My Culture.”
