St. Patrick’s Day in Savannah won’t be the same this year without the big parade or festival, but Plant Riverside District is bringing some of the Irish charm to River Street.
The 2021 Shamrocks and Shenanigans festival will be from Friday, March 12 through Wednesday, March 17.
Aside from free live music and Irish dance performances, there will also be special food and drinks.
Brunch fans can enjoy a St. Patrick’s-themed brunch on March 14 at Myrtle & Rose.
You can also look forward to a St. Patrick’s Day-themed VIP party for adults from 11 a.m. to midnight on March 17. There will be specialty cocktails, a live DJ, and raffle prizes.
Tickets are $50 in advance or $75 at the door. Space is limited due to COVID restrictions.
Tyler Gray, Activities Director at JW Marriott Plant Riverside District, said, “We have been in planning for six weeks, creating a brand-new tradition in Savannah for years to come.”
Face masks and temperature checks are required for admission.
““We encourage everyone to wear a face mask and practice social distancing as they enjoy Savannah’s newest St. Patrick’s Day tradition,” said Richard C. Kessler, Chairman and CEO of The Kessler Collection.
