It came as something of a surprise to most of us when Ghost Coast Distillery shut their doors last Summer. The location near the river was good. The tasting room seemed to attract a fair number of visitors, but ultimately business is business and the doors were closed. Any inventory that hadn’t been sold yet stayed on shelves across town.

What remains of Ghost Coast’s spirits is now for sale to the general public here in Savannah. Only one liquor store has it and when it’s gone, any signs of Ghost Coast Distillery will be gone for good.

“We bought it all.” is how a representative of River Street Liquors put it. “When it’s gone, it’s gone.”

4 different bourbons and one vodka are what is left. The bourbons are all single barrel products. Some finished in Cognac casks, rum casks and some in Sherry casks.
