It probably doesn’t come as any surprise to you that we field a constant flow of inquiries here at Eat It and Like It World Heaquarters. Most are looking for ‘insider’ tips to the dining scenes here in Savannah or Hilton Head, but a lot of them (again you’d be surprised) ask about a centralized location to find a list of food-centric events in the area. There are a lot of people who maintain events calendars in and around Savannah, but no one really drills down on the food scene and the events that this area offers.

So we did little something about that.

A week or so ago, we rolled out our Eat It and Like It Events Calendar. You can find it in the middle of our home page on this website.

What you will find is a listing of events that center around food. Wine Dinners, cocktail pairings, beer dinners and/or pop-ups. The pop up scene in Savannah alone is enough to someone busy for weeks. We’ve got a lot seemingly every week. It’s next to impossible to keep tabs. Well, now we are in one convenient place.

It is very important to mention that this calendar, much like all of our content, is not Savannah-centric. Anyone looking for food fun in Bluffton/Hilton Head or Beaufort and the Sea Islands should find something here as well.

The project is in it’s infancy, but we think it will grow very quickly-it has already. We have huge expectations for it, so much so we’ve dedicated one person to the job. No, I don’t do all of this alone.
