A new sports bar is coming to Habersham Village in 2021.
The creative minds behind Bar Food and Coffee Deli are expanding with Bar Food Sports.
While there isn’t a hard opening date yet, Samantha Igoe, who is the general manager, told me they have been hard at work converting the old Marco’s Pizza into a new place for sports fans to gather.
Bar Food Sports will have 17 TVs, two dart boards, community tables, and a large well-stocked bar.
“We’re basically looking to be your neighborhood bar with games and a good sense of community.”
Samantha told me that management had talked about having a sports bar for a while. When the space next door to Bar Food became available, it seemed like the perfect time to move forward.
As far as the menu goes, Samantha said they’ve been hard at work creating different flavors of wings alongside the burgers and sandwiches customers expect to find at a sports bar.
“It’s going to be on another level. Chef Courtney Davis has really worked hard on making everything homemade even down to our hamburger buns.“
