This is one of those holidays were most of us want to sit back and enjoy some football. Whether your family is divided over who to cheer for during the Bears vs Lions, Raiders vs Cowboys, or Saints vs Bills, one thing you can probably agree on is that the Spice, Spice Baby Pumpkin/Yam Ale hits the spot with appetizers. Our friends at Lot 9 recommend pairing their Buxom Blonde Ale with your main course. They tell us it has the richness of buttery sides and brown gravy. Maybe we could try pouring a little over our turkey.
After all that heavy food has settled (and maybe a nap), it’s time for dessert. The folks at Lot 9 suggest the Imperial 9-Grain Stout as the best beer to sip on while enjoying your aunt’s famous pumpkin pie or grandma’s apple pie.
