HUSK Savannah to host GA Wine dining event

Peter Seifarth, winemaker at Crane Creek Vineyards, will join Husk Savannah sommelier Jamie Crotts + Executive Chef Jacob Hammer for a celebration of Georgia’s best on Monday, August 12 at 6pm. Guests can look forward to a six-course tasting menu of Georgia ingredients and estate grown wine pairings.

If you aren’t already familiar, Crane Creek Vineyards is Georgia’s hidden gem winery located in Georgia’s premier winegrowing region, the Upper Hiawassee Highlands. In 2018, Winemaker Peter Seifarth took the torch from his father, Eric, who originally planted the estate vineyard in 1995. Under Peter’s direction, the winery has taken a new direction that harnesses the quality of the family vines to create higher quality wine than has ever been thought possible in the state of Georgia.

The Husk Savannah team is proud to be the only restaurant serving these wines outside of CCV’s hometown, and are looking forward to accentuating their character with Husk’s signature vibrant flavor profiles and heirloom ingredients for this intimate dinner. Tickets are available here for $175 per person.
