Forsyth Farmers Market kicks of New Year with New Vendors
Forsyth Farmers’ Market – a leading nonprofit organization based in Savannah, Ga. that is dedicated to supporting local farmers and expanding community access to fresh, affordable food – will kick off the New Year with the popular food-only farmers’ market in Forsyth Park on Saturday, January 4 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Forsyth Farmers’ Market, which is free, family-friendly and open to the public, will feature nine new vendors from Georgia and South Carolina, including Ashley Family Produce, Coastline Shrimp, Dewdrop Farms, Filipino Forager, Fun Guy Farms, Gigi’s Boujee Bakery, Leaning Oaks Farms Meats, Maizal Arepas and Popcorn Geeks.
“We’re thrilled to start 2025 with our vibrant Saturday market and the addition of nine impressive new local vendors,” said Forsyth Farmers’ Market Executive Director Debi Fowler. “Many Savannah residents make New Year’s resolutions to improve their health and to make better food choices. Forsyth Farmers’ Market is the perfect place to find high-quality, locally grown produce and to support our local food system.”
Forsyth Farmers’ Market organizes Savannah’s largest food-only, producer-only market, with more than 70 vendors offering fresh produce, pastured meats, local honey, artisan dairy and cheeses, craft breads, baked goods and a wide variety of prepared foods.
