What’s better than a clean beach free of litter? A clean beach with free food. Hilton Head’s FISH Casual Coastal Seafood announced last month that they will give children a free kid’s meal if they participate in an initiative called “Clean Up Kids”.
“Clean Up Kids” encourages children to clean up nearby Coligny Beach. In order to participate, families can stop by FISH to pick up one of the blue buckets from the display in front of the restaurant, fill it with beach litter, and return it to FISH to receive a voucher for a free kid’s meal.
“As much as the kids benefit from learning the importance of keeping our beaches clean, this restaurant benefits as well. We make every attempt to source our seafood locally and the health of our ocean and waterways contributes to sustainability for the future,” said FISH owner Lee Lucier.
FISH Casual Coastal Seafood specializes in fresh seafood. It’s clearly important to them to keep our beaches clean. Now “Clean Up Kids” is passing along that priority to the next generation.
