If you follow along closely to what we do here at Eat It and Like It, then you caught our mention a couple of weeks ago that an announcement was coming regarding our 2024 Fried Chicken and Champagne dinner in January of 2024.

Now we have some details.

The annual event returns Thursday night, January 25th at 6:30pm at the 1540 Room inside the DeSoto Savannah Hotel in the heart of Savannah’s Historic District.

DeSoto Executive Chef Lauren Teague is excited to host this event along with 1540 Executive Chef Collin Clemmons. They are promising what could end up being our best Fried Chicken and Champagne event since we began throwing this party back in 2017.

For those that aren’t familiar, one night a year we gather at a different location around Savannah and enjoy endless servings of fried chicken and sides as well as bottomless glasses of bubbles. Those bubbles include champagne, prosecco and cava. That will be the same this year as well. The event has been a sell out every year we’ve held it and January’s will be no different. How do we know?

Now the good news/bad news.

As a reward for their loyalty, we’ve made a habit of informing previous guests at our Fried Chicken and Champagne before we make the announcement to the general public. That happened a few days ago. Seats have been snapped up in record time. As a result, there are a VERY limited number of tickets still available as of this writing on Wednesday night, November 1st. We expect them all to be gone by the end of the weekend.

We are looking forward to another great night in Savannah come January! See you there..
