Eat It and Like It Supper Club

It is very fair to say a fine time was had by all.

Just under a year ago, we decided to move ahead with an idea we had been kicking around for a while. The plan was to create a Supper Club – Members Only-where our guests would be able to enjoy some unique dining experiences every quarter in and around Savannah.

Our final dinner of the year was held Sunday night at The Wyld Dock Bar. The other 3 dotted the landscape to include one of the most enjoyable dinners I’ve ever had in this town. Back in late April, we were on the beach behind The Deck at Tybee with a table full of seafood specially prepared for us by our friends at Southern Cross Hospitality and Ukiyo in particular.

That was a special night. As they all were frankly.

Sunday night’s dinner at the Wyld featured 5 off the menu courses that wow’ed with every course. When the table gets quiet you know our guests are enjoying themselves.

Membership to the club was never announced publicly. Last December, we sent out an email to a list of people who had attended our Eat It and Like It special events in the past. We thought enrollment would be a slow go, but all 20 spots were gone in less than 24 hours.

I’m sharing all of this to let anyone know that we will be making a wait list for people who would like to join based on availability. As I write this, I’m guessing we will have most of our members renew their commitment for 2025, but we cannot be sure. Those details will be sorted out in December.

For now, the membership wait list is fairly short. I’m sure it will grow in the next few weeks.
