It’s hard to imagine a time when we didn’t have the Coastal Empire Beer Company‘s delicious brews available all over Savannah, but it’s a time that owner Kevin Haborak still remembers.
“When we first got started, it was pretty much The Distillery and Crystal Beer Parlor, and then everybody else had, maybe one or possibly two taps devoted to a craft beer. That’s changed significantly.”
This weekend, the brewing company celebrates 10 years with a party. There will be brews, beer smoothies, food from Mac Attack‘s food truck, and live music.
There will also be a return of the Pickle Rick beer for anyone missing the salty and sour brew.
The anniversary celebration starts at 6 p.m. this Saturday, August 21.
