Did someone say “Breakfast All Day?”
They did now.
One of Charleston’s most popular breakfast/brunch spots is mid-build out and set to open soon on Broughton Street in the heart of downtown Savannah.
Toast, a small chain with multiple locations across the Greater Charleston area is venturing out of South Carolina for the first time. They will set up on the corner of Broughton and Bull Streets in downtown Savannah, taking over the space previously occupied by Panera Bread.
Once named a ‘must eat’ by the New York Times, Toast offers a pretty straight forward menu of omelettes, benedicts and pancakes. With a few creative twists, of course.
There’s also a full wine list with a range of mimosas and bloody marys.
I can hear the woohoo girls setting up shop already.
Look for an opening in the Fall. Work is ongoing at the soon-to-be location in Miami, then their focus will turn to Savannah.
