I’m heading to the Food & Wine Classic in Charleston, November 13-15. I haven’t locked down my schedule yet, which is a real problem when there are more than 40 cooking demos and beverage seminars and you only get to pick five. I’m very much looking forward to a great culinary weekend.

Food & Wine, Travel + Leisure, and Southern Living run the weekend, now in its third year. Carla Hall, Eric Ripert, Nancy Silverton, Martin Yan, Andrew Zimmern, Tyler Florence, and Maneet Chauhan are on the schedule, along with Charleston’s own Mike Lata. My short list so far has Martin Yan and Melissa King teaming up for the first time, Dan Pashman taping The Sporkful live, and a barbecue panel on where Southern pitmasters take things next.

A limited number of full weekend passes are still available online. The pass covers four Grand Tastings, with more than 100 winemakers, distillers, and purveyors, plus five seminars of your choosing.

Two signature events just got a fresh batch of individual tickets. Pearls of the Coast, the Lowcountry oyster roast at American Gardens, is Friday, November 13. The Lowcountry Tailgate in the College of Charleston’s Cistern Yard is Saturday, November 14. Both are on the festival website, and the supply is limited.

If you want to eat your way around town, the Classic also just announced Night Out With F&W. It’s a four-day series, November 12-15, curated by Food & Wine Editor-in-Chief Hunter Lewis, with Charleston restaurants hosting everything from special menus with cocktail and wine pairings to chef’s tables and collaborative parties. A few that caught my eye:

• Kultura Charleston: Kain Tayo “Let’s Eat” on November 14
• Merci: a chef’s table experience on November 14

• Chez Nous x Malagon: a French and Spanish Basque lunch on November 15
