By this point, you must have heard about Atlanta’s vegan burger restaurant Slutty Vegan. It’s become so popular that now the team is opening another vegan restaurant. This time on the second floor of Ponce City Market’s Central Food Hall later this month.
Bar Vegan is a full-service restaurant and bar. Slutty Vegan CEO Pinky Cole envisions this new restaurant as part of the vegan movement.
“As a community, we are beginning to eat healthier and focus more on the things we put into our bodies,” says Cole. “Bar Vegan’s aim is to create an enjoyable experience for those who want to eat well and enjoy a bit of fun and flare, while still maintaining the vegan lifestyle.”
Cole said this won’t be a normal vegan restaurant. Think of it as “bar theatre”.
Part of that experience is something called “experience cocktails” that are made tableside. This includes a Foreign Fruit Punch served in an “active, smokey volcano”.
The food will be traditional bar food with a vegan take like sandwiches, salads, egg rolls, wings, and some Slutty Vegan favorites.
While there isn’t an opening date just yet, keep checking the website for updates.
