It is always good news when people doing good things in Savannah get national attention. To be fair, it happens quite a bit. It makes news when it is someone deserving who has yet to get any shine in a national-type spotlight.

The latest is Pizzeria Vittoria Chef and Owner Kyle Jacovino. Kyle was featured in a tiny snippet in People Magazine talking about how to glaze carrots. Pretty simple stuff, right? We’d be surprised at how many people out there can’t figure that out.

Add to that, Pizzeria Vittoria was also named ‘Best Pizza in the State of Georgia’ by Food and Wine Magazine.
