Sip and Savor Weekend coming to Westin Hilton Head Island
The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa, together with Island RecAssociation, Low Tide Brewing, Hilton Head Island Wine & Food Festival, The Outside Foundation, Burnt Church Distillery,Outside Ohana,and Destination DMC, invites locals and visitors to celebrate the start of spring at Sip & Savor: A Seaside Weekend,taking placeMarch 19-20, 2021.
An intimate beachside event, Sip & Savor will provide guests with the area’s finest spirits and beer,world-class wines,signature Lowcountry fare, and live performances by popular, local artists.

LOWCOUNTRY OYSTER ROAST & BBQ Friday, March 19, 2021 at 6pm
Guests are invited to join local entertainers Mike Kavanaugh and Jevon Daly of Jo Jo Duo on the Westin’s Oceanfront Deck for a lively, Lowcountry-style evening complete with a local oyster roast and barbecue created by resort chefs Jim Barnett and Jeff Capurso, refreshing libations from the soon-to-open, locally-owned Burnt Church Distillery and craft beers from Low Tide Brewing.
Menu highlights include:
•Roasted Local Oysters served with drawn butter, house-made cocktail sauce, hot sauce, and crackers•Carolina Barbecue with house-smoked pulled pork, brioche buns, gouda mac and cheese, Mexican corn, tidewater coleslaw, baked beans, and cornbread
•Peel ‘n’ Eat Local Shrimp served with Savannah remoulade, and house-made cocktail sauce
•Mason Jar Desserts including key lime, s’mores, lemon curd, and berry trifle
MIMOSAS ON THE MARSH Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 10 am
Guests of Sip & Savor: A Seaside Weekend are invited to climb aboard the brand new Outside Ohana for a socially distant, dolphin-spotting, eco-cruise through the center of Hilton Head’s Broad Creek. Departing from Shelter Cove Marina, this two-hour tour will allow guests to take in the sights and sounds of theLowcountry’s wildlife, all while enjoying a light breakfast with a (bottomless) mimosa in hand!
WINE PAIRING DINNER Saturday, March 20, 2021at 6 pm
For the second evening of the weekend-long event, guests will enjoy the sounds of local entertainers, Lavon Stevens and Louise Spencer, as well as a progressive, four-course dinner with hand-selected wines from around the globe onthe resort’s Grand Ocean Terrace. Rick Rubel, award-winning sommelier, will showcase an expert pairing for each thoughtfully created dish by resort chefs Jim Barnett and Jeff Capurso, including:

Tickets for Sip & Savor: A Seaside Weekend must be purchased in advance as guest capacity for each event is limited.
Tickets are $60 per guest for Friday evening (excludes beverages), $95 per guest for Saturday morning (includes a light breakfast and open bar), and $135per guest for Saturday evening (includes wine pairings) with all ticket prices inclusive of taxes, gratuities, and fees.
Guests looking for a weekend getaway can book the resort’s Sip & Savor Seaside Weekend Package, which includes a two-night stay, two tickets for Friday’s event, two tickets for Saturday morning’s cruise on Outside Ohana, two tickets for Saturday’s event, $100 resort credit, and a waived resort fee. Rates for the hotel package begin at $489 per night.
