THE CUISINE:
The Cotton Exchange is non-pretentious bar food. Burgers, Chicken sandwiches, some platters and a crab stew you should definitely try.

THE MOOD:
The Cotton Exchange has a definite dark wood “Pub” feel. A seat at the bar will likely put you next to a local construction worker, an attorney or a tourist who makes sure TCE is their first stop every year they Visit Savannah.

BEST FOR:
A sandwich, burger, and oh yeah, the Bloody Mary. Theirs along with The Collins Quarter and Treylor Park are Savannah’s best three Bloodys.

WHAT YOU’LL LOVE:
Jean is a greeter and former bartender at Cotton Exchange and a local treasure. She’s been at Cotton Exchange for the better part of 25 years. She will tell you ALL of the stories from River Street back in the day. You’d never know from her Southern Drawl, that she’s from Liverpool, England.  Why tell you this? She created the Bloody Mix. Still used to this day.  Excellent
