For 23 years I was a television news anchor. Then I started eating for a living.

Since 2010, I've been documenting and sharing stories about food from Charleston to Miami, plus anywhere and everywhere in between. It began with an Emmy-nominated TV show that still airs today, and it has grown across the website, the podcast, social media and the newsletter.

A newsroom teaches you to ask the real question and tell the truth about the answer. That's what I bring to a restaurant table. My calling card is authenticity, and I have an insatiable curiosity. When I say a place is good, I mean it. When it isn't, I'll tell you that too.
