Because we needed another reason to celebrate the most beautiful time of the year around here, we’ve decided to throw a pizza party and we’d like you to join us.

I’m partnering with our friends at Capri Pizza HHI on the island’s South end to host a little get together featuring the island’s newest pizza spot as a back drop with all of the money raised going to a local charity. More on them in a second.

The format for this event is pretty simple, 20 ticket holders will join me for a couple of hours enjoying unlimited tastings of Capri Pizza’s offerings, some salads and sides. If I know chef, there will be a few surprises in store. The evening will also include wine.

All the pizza you want to eat, a few glasses of wine maybe and one good time for a good cause. Sound good to you?

Tickets are $100.00 per person, that includes taxes and gratuities. As I said, all of the money raised will go to Second Helpings. If you are local then you are more than familiar with their work. Second Helpings is a nonprofit food rescue and distribution network striving to eliminate hunger and food waste in the South Carolina Lowcountry.

It’s the perfect time of the year to enjoy some good cheer and raise a few bucks ahead of the holidays.

Seating is limited to 20. As I sit here and write this, 4 seats have already sold. I’m sharing that information because seating for this special event will be fairly limited. So if you’d like to join us, don’t delay.
