More times than not around here, Easter falls into a unique category for dining like Mother’s Day. You usually have an idea of where you are going to go or where you’d like to go. Sometimes tradition plays a role, other times reservations are made far in advance.
Still, a lot of people find themselves procrastinating ahead of these ‘family gathering’ dates on the calendar. Every year we get emails from people with their hair on fire looking for ‘something different’ on Easter Sunday.

Still, options are good. So we took a few minutes to round up a handful of them for this Easter Sunday around Savannah. Cheers. What we cannot guarantee you is a seat. Do yourself a favor and make the call yesterday if you are trying to make plans for Sunday.
Emporium Kitchen & Market – Along with Savannah staple The Collins Quarter, maybe my favorite brunch in Savannah. We talked about their Shrimp and Grits here a couple of weeks ago. They are really good. As is the Pimento Cheese Omelette and pretty much everything else I’ve had there.
Lily’s Restaurant – Wilmington Island – Mir Ali very quietly packs them in for Sunday brunch on the island every week. If you are looking for something -as they say-off of the beaten path-you may want to take a ride out to the island.
Cohen’s Retreat – Cohen’s does a great job with everything they do. Including Brunch. This is the only call we made checking on space because they could handle an overflow. As of Thursday, they are booked but taking names and numbers for cancellations.
Ardsley Station – We are told there may be a couple of Easter specials, but otherwise it’s regular menu at Ardsley Station on Easter Sunday. Plenty of seating indoor and outdoor, but make sure you make the call to book a table in advance.
