2024 Restaurant Week Frequently Asked Questions

As you might imagine, we are very excited to be putting on Restaurant Week in Savannah at the end of the month. In the week since we officially announced the return, we’ve been fielding a ton of questions. You’ve got questions? We’ve got answers….The most asked are as follows….

*HOW DO WE MAKE A RESERVATION AT A PARTICULAR RESTAURANT?

Restaurant Week is and Eat It and Like It sponsored event, yes, but it is not a private event. There aren’t a limited number of seats per night at a particular restaurant. Many of our participating restaurants will require a reservation. You can probably find them on either Open Table or Resy, the two most popular reservation websites. We will have a link to those sites on our official Restaurant Week roster, which you can find here.

Similarly, if a particular restaurant does not use Resy or Open Table, then you are best served calling them to reserve a table. Some of our participants don’t require reservations, so you will just need to show up (allow yourself a little extra time on the weekends) and enjoy.

HOW WILL WE KNOW WHAT THE PRICES ARE?

The biggest difference for this year’s Restaurant Week is the fact that we are allowing restaurants to set their own price point. Some might be $35 for 3 courses, some might be $45, some might be $60. The price point will be posted on the menu we share for your review on our Restaurant Week roster, which you can find here. If a menu is not posted yet, it is because we have not received it from the restaurant.

WILL ANY RESTAURANTS OFFER A SET PRICE FOR LUNCH AS WELL?

Yes, restaurants have been given the option of offering 3 courses for a set price at lunch time as well. Some are choosing to do so, others are not. Lunch menus will also be posted on our Restaurant Week roster here. If a menu is not posted, it is because we have not received it from the restaurant yet.

WILL ANY RESTAURANTS ACCOMMODATE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS?

Specific requests should be addressed ahead of time by contacting the restaurant. Some may be able to, some may not.

ARE DRINKS INCLUDED IN THE PRE SET PRICE?

Some restaurants will be offering wine pairings or cocktail pairings with their 3 course meals, but those will come at an extra charge. Beverages are not included in any of the 3 course meals, unless designated by the restaurant on their menu.

Incidentally, one of our participants -Java Burrito Company-will be offering $3 Margaritas all day every day from January 26th through February 4th. Their celebration of Savannah’s food scene.

WILL MENUS OFFER CHOICES? WILL THE MENUS CHANGE?

The biggest feedback we’ve gotten from participating restaurants is a desire to offer you, the guest, a choice of options for each course. That will exist at some restaurants, but certainly not all. You can see menus on our Restaurant Week roster, here. If menus aren’t posted, then we have yet to receive them from the restaurant. At the same time, we have asked restaurants to keep their menu the same for the entirety of Restaurant Week. There may be extreme circumstances that keep that from happening, but the plan is to have one menu for the duration. January 26th through February 4th.

PARKING

Some restaurants-particularly at the hotels (Fleeting, Rhett, Pacci, Emporium) could offer guests valet parking (either discounted or complimentary) with dinner. We suggest checking with the particular property ahead of time.
