What’s New!

We had some fun with this one. A little different approach. In part because there are so many new places to Eat and Like across the region. We know that people get busy during the holidays and only the die hards keep tabs on every restaurant opening. So consider this episode our public service to keep you up to date on some great food in the area that is now available for you to Eat and Like.

Sly's Sliders and FriesSly’s Sliders and Fries:  Has only been open a few weeks. Brought to you by the same group that runs Jepson Cafe inside Savannah’s Telfair Museum. Jepson Cafe is one of Savannah’s best kept secrets. Sly’s is a complete departure from that in their concept. They call it Big Flavors in Small Bites. Fantastic Menu. Two sandwiches, fries and a drink can come in under $10 easy.

Sushi Hana:  Sushi Hana is Pooler’s newest sushi spot. Nice scene. Good sushi.  Best you’ve ever had? Definitely not. But a nice spot to enjoy some cocktails, sake and a few of their rolls. Hana House Roll was my favorite. Great blend of flavors. Open for lunch and dinner.

Lili’s Restaurant and Bar:  Lili’s opened on November 17th. Read all about them here.

Others we mentioned in this episode.

39 Rue de Jean:  French Bistro (Coming to Savannah this Spring)

Sandfly BBQ:  (Opening Soon Downtown Savannah)

The Grey :  (Now Open Downtown Savannah)

Poseidon Coastal Cuisine:  (Hilton Head Island, SC)

Betty Bombers All American Eatery (Downtown Savannah)

The Bluffton Room:  (Bluffton, SC) Read our write up about them here.

Two others now open we failed to mention in Savannah only because we were short on time.  80east Gastropub on Tybee Island and Fire Wok Chinese Cuisine in Savannah.
See you on TV,
Jesse
