The Sentient Bean

“The Bean” as locals know it, is without question, Savannah’s most ‘rough around the edges’ coffee shop. That’s not to be construed in a bad way. Not at all. It is home, possibly to Savannah’s most uhhhhh ‘earthy’ coffee shoppers. A wide variety of vegan options make it a go-to for the health food diet crowd. The food is good. As are the coffees. The location is perfect. It is sits across the street from the Southern end of Forsyth Park. About 300 feet away from the Saturday morning Farmer’s Market. A great stop to hang out, sip and people watch. Weeknights it’s home to any number of poetry readings, musicians and more.  Click photo for more
