Salted caramel seems to be a huge trend and I am definitely a big fan. This recipe is very simple and not nearly as costly as going to a local chain like Starbucks. So, you can have this treat whenever your little heart desires.
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1 tbs. unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tbs. sugar
- 2 tbs. caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
- Sea salt (to taste)
- Whipped cream
- 1 cup strong brewed coffee
Heat milk in the microwave for one minute on high. Add the cocoa powder, sugar, and caramel sauce. Mix until dissolved. You can froth the milk if you prefer, but it’s not a necessity. Pour in the coffee and add whipped cream. Drizzle on more caramel and top with a sprinkle of salt.
