#Things have been quiet on the ‘new restaurant’ scene lately. Of course the big announcement was the Kessler Project along River Street that will house a few restaurants. That’s obviously a couple of years away, but if the whispers I hear about what might go in there-food wise- are even remotely true, this Cuban will moon walk down MLK in a speedo. Well, maybe.
#Meanwhile work continues on Prohibition, the Irish Pub/Restaurant being built out on MLK adjacent to the new Fairfield Inn Hotel. I will be updating you soon.
#Farm Bluffton is now open, by the way. I haven’t had the chance to visit yet, but I am hearing great things.

#Immediately following that is one of the best food festivals along coastal Georgia or South Carolina for that matter. Whiskey Wine and Wildlife on Jekyll Island was a huge hit in its first year last April. Dates are being moved up a bit this year. February 9-12, 2017 at the Westin Jekyll Island. #One of my favorite parts of what I do is shining a light on people doing great things with food. There are so many, but Le Cafe Gourmet is a tiny French Bakery just off of Broughton Street downtown.
