A lot of us will either spend the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day overindulging, only to wipe the slate clean completely after the ball drops on Times Square. In the interim, here are a few things to chew on…..
**I am told that Savannah Coffee Roasters is not moving to Bay Street after all. The lease was just about ready to go, but not signed. Now it won’t happen. At least not on Bay Street. They are searching for a new location, but nothing to report just yet.
**Speaking of closing/not closing, Café 37 was a very popular spot that was forced to close it’s doors. I am told there is a search to relocate that wonderful restaurant. You will know when I do.
**In case you missed it earlier this week, a new episode of Eat It and Like It premiered this week. The Dish on Savannah documents Visit Savannah’s press visit to New York City back in October. **I am not really a party pooper, but it’s hard for me to get fired up about New Year’s Eve on a Monday night. All of that said, there are quite a few places doing special dinners.
