We’ve figured out a way to beat those long lines in the summer when you just have to have some Leopold’s Ice Cream. It will require a drive out to the airport. Well, and a plane ticket.
Security, you know.
Leopold’s Ice Cream announced their latest spot to serve their legendary product in the Savannah/Hilton Head Island area. The new Leopold’s kiosk sits right in the middle of the concourse at Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport. Directly in between the Jet Blue and American Airlines gates. Leopold’s signature soda jerks will be offering singles, double and pints of classic flavors such as Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, Mint Chocolate Chip, Butter Pecan, Chocolate Chewies & Cream and Tutti Frutti. Passengers will have twelve flavors in all to choose from.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled about the partnership.” said Stratton Leopold, who’s father and uncles began Leopold’s Ice Cream in 1919 at the corner of Habersham and Gwinnett Streets downtown Savannah. That location is expected to re-open in the near future along with other expansion to the Leopold’s footprint in the region.
The airport kiosk was made using a one-of-kind environmentally friendly timber product provided by DIRTT Environmental Solutions, a Canadian company.
