I’m going to go out on a limb and say that we do more baking between Thanksgiving and Christmas than the rest of the year combined. I personally don’t do a whole lot of baking at home. My wife is the baker. Except for a few classes at the local crafts store, she’s essentially self taught. But I can’t say I haven’t heard some screams here and there when there are some missing ingredients in the house. With that in mind and “baking season” upon us, I thought I’d share something with you that I came across. It’s a really valuable tool in the kitchen. You can print it and put it up on your fridge, or you can save it in an e-mail file somewhere. Either way, if you are in the kitchen this season, this substitution list is a great thing to keep handy.
