We thought we’d take a minute to make a quick announcement. More of a formality, really, but a big enough deal around here to share. Eat It and Like It has agreed to terms with WSAV-TV to continue to bring you our show every Sunday morning for another two years.
I can’t begin to tell you how excited we are to be in a position where we can continue this food journey my business partner, Senea Crystal, and I set out on back in the Summer of 2010. The idea scratched out on a napkin at B Matthew’s downtown Savannah has evolved into a full time job. Sometimes it’s more than a full time job but if it’s something you are passionate about, it shouldn’t feel like work. In fact, the nicest compliment I get on the street is when someone says “You look like you are a having a blast.” Well do you know what? Good! Because I am.
Our new season will debut on Sunday, September 20th. It will be our first season where I am devoting all of my time, effort and attention to producing great television. No side jobs to pull me away anymore. That said, there isn’t a TV show out there that doesn’t wish for a bigger budget every hour on the hour, but hey, no complaints here. We are very fortunate to be able to do what we do for a living. Of course, without you our viewers, we’d be nowhere. So, thank you. Thank you for making us Savannah/Hilton Head Island’s highest rated television show.
We have much more in the hopper that I wish we could talk about right now, but it’s back to work. Thanks again for your support!
