Cotton and Rye, as well as their sister restaurant Sugo Rossa in Savannah’s Midtown area, are two of the most popular restaurants with locals in the city. For very good reason too, they both do a great job. Cotton and Rye is an ecclectic American mix of dishes. Their Fried Chicken Thighs are maybe their most popular, but they also offer seafood dishes, a fantastic burger and the best Shrimp and Grits in Savannah.(pictured) They’ve been a locals favorite since day one.
