Chive is part of the Ele and the Chef family in Savannah. Owners of 7-8 restaurants all with an Asian influence. Flying Monk Noodle Bar is probably the most popular, but right across the street from Flying Monk is Chive Sea Bar. Smallish, but definitely upscale, it offers some of the best seafood in Savannah. Consistent and delicious every time. That includes their oysters, even if they are a smidge on the pricey side. I watched a guy one time eat a dozen by himself, then tell me how great they were. He thought about it for a minute and ordered a 2nd dozen. “I don’t care what they cost” he said “These are the best oysters I’ve had in Savannah in a while” There you go. Click here for more
