Betty Bombers is one of a handful of locations in Savannah that makes our lists in multiple categories. Located inside the American Legion Hall on Bull Street just South of Forsyth Park, Betty offers what the owners call “Good ol’ beer drinkin’ food. It’s tucked away out of sight from the street, but it is very much open to the public. The burger is one time winner of an Eat It and Like It Foodie Award. If that doesn’t convince you, actor Matthew McConaughey visited while in town for a wedding one time and said it was one of the best burgers he’d ever had. It’s a great product.
