CO restaurant, showcasing fresh, robust flavors and a
modern take on traditional Southeast Asian cuisine, will celebrate four years in
business by offering its signature noodle dish, Curry Laksa, for only $4. The $4 dish
will be available all day, 11am to 10pm, on Thursday, April 11th. CO first opened
its doors on Whitaker Street in downtown Savannah in April of 2015.
While the menu is extensive, the Curry Laksa is a signature dish coveted by those
who frequent CO. This traditional Malaysian dish consists of shredded chicken
and bun rice noodles served in a spicy coconut broth with cucumber, thai basil,
& baby bok choy and typically costs $15. The entire CO menu will be available
during this promotion and diners taking advantage of this offer will be able to
customize their Curry Laksa with various add-ons such as shrimp or drunken pork
belly for an additional charge. To receive the special pricing, customers must
dine-in; the deal will not be eligible for take-out orders.
CO’s Executive Chef Masanori Shiraishi leads the culinary team, drawing
inspiration from generations-old family dishes and popular dishes throughout
Southeast Asia. Born in Japan, Chef Masa is known for transforming traditional
dishes into unparalleled modern feasts with a constant utilization of fresh, clean
ingredients.
CO was founded in 2012 by Greg Bauer in Charleston, SC. The restaurant group
has locations in Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Charleston, SC; Myrtle Beach, SC; and
Raleigh, NC.
